📚✨ A day filled with books, smiles, and the joy of reading!
Our Read to Me students had a wonderful time delivering books to our Pre-K and elementary students thanks to our amazing Read Aloud Coordinator. Seeing the excitement on the students’ faces made the day even more special!
To top it all off, our Read to Me students were also gifted books of their very own to keep and enjoy at home. ❤️📖
Moments like these remind us how powerful reading can be in bringing students together and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

Update on Dance: The Spring Fling Dance is this Friday from 6-8 pm. This is not a formal dance, and it is only for current Buffalo Middle School students. Just a reminder: The National Junior Honors Society Induction Ceremony is tomorrow at 6 pm. All students participating (new inductees & those who have been nominated to read at the ceremony) need to arrive by 5:30 pm. All students who are participating met with Mrs. Hanna on Friday to go over instructions, and they will be having practice during school tomorrow morning.

8th Grade families: be on the lookout for your student’s Personalized Education Plan (PEP)! 🎓 Every student has now received their plan.
This plan helps map out your child’s high school coursework, career interests, graduation requirements, and course requests for next year. It is an important tool that will guide students as they prepare for high school and begin exploring future career pathways.
Please take time to review the plan with your student, make any needed changes, and sign/date the form before returning it to school.
If you have questions about your student’s PEP, please contact the school counselor’s office.

Please see the attached pictures for all of the upcoming events for the end of the school year! Remember: tonight is the Spring Band Concert at 6 pm at SVHS!

✨💫 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Community 💫✨
As our fairytale-themed Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we want to extend our deepest thanks to the families, businesses, volunteers, alumni, and community members who helped bring the magic to life for our staff. Because of your generosity, kindness, donations, and support, our teachers and staff felt truly celebrated all week long. 🍎🍿🍩🥤✨
From treats and meals to notes of encouragement and surprise deliveries, every contribution helped remind our staff how valued they are. We are so grateful to everyone who donated items, volunteered time, delivered treats, or helped behind the scenes to make this week so special.
It truly takes a village to support a school, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such a caring and supportive community surrounding our students and staff. Thank you for helping us celebrate the people who work every day to make a difference in the lives of children. 💛📚👑

✨📖 And They All Lived Happily Ever After… 📖✨
Today, our Teacher Appreciation Week fairytale came to a magical close! 💫 We were so thankful for Buffalo Playmates, who brought a delicious donation of donuts for our staff to enjoy this morning. 🍩
Teachers also received the final epilogue to our story along with a Once Upon a Popcorn Bar filled with fun toppings and treats. 🍿✨ Adding even more fun to the day, Mr. Watkins dressed as a prince and visited the classrooms of teachers who had “kissed the frog” earlier in the week to give them a much-needed break! 👑🐸
We also wrapped up the week with a special game featuring treats for staff members who “caught the Gingerbread Man,” and our staff received thoughtful gifts donated by our wonderful families and community members. 🎁💛
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this week so meaningful for our staff. Your generosity, support, and kindness helped remind our teachers and staff just how appreciated they truly are. Our fairytale may be ending, but the gratitude we feel for our school community will last far beyond this week. ✨
